Independent study |
Students are encouraged to start a long creative process, which they are responsible for themselves. During the year, the students will participate in projects of various lengths, and the study year itself is one sustained creative process. The focus is on dialogue and sharing.
At the beginning of the autumn term, each student will introduce a subject of their choice that is somehow related to their coming studies. This introduction (30-40 mins) can be a lecture, instructed movement session, representation that includes an introduction to the related creative process, or any other suitable form. The objective is also to introduce yourself and your interests to the group.
During the course, the students will instruct and act as assistants in various instructional situations and tasks in the arts sector. The students will discuss their experiences in groups and write reports and reflections on them. In the spring term, the students will do two weeks of practical training outside the Institute.
