Wellness Start is a lighter test package that begins with an InBody body composition measurement. Before the InBody measurement, it is recommended to:

• Avoid meals and heavy drinking at least 2 hours before the measurement.
• Avoid alcohol 12 hours before the measurement.
• Avoid strenuous physical exertion (breath-taking exercise) before the measurement.

FitnessPro includes several tests that measure physical performance. Before the tests, you will be asked to fill out a background information form to ensure the suitability and safety of the test.

General instructions before the test:

• Try to get a good night’s rest the night before the test.
• Avoid strenuous physical exertion on the day of the test before the test.
• Come to the test in indoor exercise clothes and shoes; you may bring a water bottle and a small towel.
• If you are taking medications that affect the heart or circulatory system, write down their names on the background information form. Medications that slow or speed up the heart rate make it difficult to choose the appropriate load. Medications also affect the comparability of test results; medication that affects the heart rate may improve or weaken the result of the fitness test.

Two hours before the test:

• Avoid smoking, coffee and cola drinks, as they increase your heart rate and the reliability of the test is reduced.
• Avoid heavy meals, as the test is uncomfortable to perform on a full stomach.

The test cannot be performed:

• After drinking alcohol or with a hangover – risk of heart rhythm disorders!
• With the flu, otherwise clearly ill or at the beginning of the recovery phase.
• Exceptionally tired, as fatigue causes an abnormal heart rate reaction during the test.
• If your blood pressure is alarmingly high.
