Eas­tern Fin­land Sports Ins­ti­tu­te’s apart­ment ISLO Hos­tel (Finn­hos­tel Joen­suu) is an excel­lent place to stay for indi­vi­dual tra­ve­lers, fami­lies and groups. Our hos­tel is loca­ted in a qui­et neigh­bor­hood in the cen­ter of Joen­suu. The hos­tel has 24 com­for­table and prac­tical rooms in one and two bedroom apart­ments. Each apart­ment has a kitc­hen and bath­room. All of the sto­res and ser­vices that Joen­suu pro­vi­des are a short walk away from the hostel.

Room rates inclu­de break­fast, bed linen and towels. You can also book sauna.

Break­fast is ser­ved in break­fast room downs­tairs Mon-Fri at 6.30–9.00 and Sat-Sun at 8.00–10.00. Lunch and din­ner for groups (min 10 per­sons) must be orde­red in advance.

We have a playground in the bac­ky­ard and a play­room for children. The­re are books, toys and games in the children’s play­room. We also pro­vi­de free par­king with block hea­ters in the back of the hostel.

The equip­ment in the kitchen/kitchenette inclu­des a frid­ge, a cof­fee maker, an elect­ric coo­ker, a mic­rowa­ve oven, and tablewa­re. Each bedroom has two beds, a TV and WiFi.
